The Team

Martin Strauss, President & Adam Gilman, Co-Founder

Martin Strauss has worked in the life and health insurance business for over forty years, during which he has privileged client relationships above all else. He loves the ability to help his clients feel confident they are getting the best coverage and best possible medical care. He does this by prioritizing people over profits, providing informed and through answers to their inquiries, and advocating on their behalf whenever necessary. As a result of this exceptional customer service, Martin has one of the highest retention rates of clients in the industry.

Martin has a deep knowledge of the ins and outs of the insurance industry, and regularly attends seminars and conferences to ensure he stays up-to-date on all the changes in this constantly evolving field.

An avid hiker, Martin spends much of his free-time either on the trails, or in the company of his four children and his six grandchildren. He lives in Sherman Oaks with his wife.

Adam Gilman joined Strauss Insurance Services in 2015. Before that, he worked on Wall Street in the field of risk analytics, where he accessed data to in order to predict, measure and quantify risk for financial institutions.

Adam moved to the insurance industry because he believes that many younger employees today tend to undervalue and underutilize benefits, and wants to change that. Through a combination of good communication skills and a comprehensive knowledge of client policies, he works hard to help employees understand their benefits and how to use them.

A Los Angeles Native, Adam lives in Sherman Oaks with his wife and two sons.
